This workforce isn't even represented by a union nor governed by employment legislation? They don't have days off or paid holidays and often have to work at weekends. In fact, they rarely have any opportunity for respite from their work. It's a workforce that isn't rewarded or paid and a lot of them live in poverty. So, who is this workforce you may ask? Well, it's made up of 10.6 million unpaid carers!

The team at Carers Card UK understand that being an unpaid carer can lead to increased financial costs to both them and their families. Unfortunately, the team at Carers Card UK may not be able to alleviate all of the financial burden but we try to help out as much as we can by providing our card holders with the opportunity to take advantage of our free giveaways. These giveaways may range from a simple cup of coffee or sausage roll to a hamper or weekend break.
