The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is a charity organisation that promotes horticulture and gardening. The RHS owns four gardens in the UK, including the world-famous RHS Garden at Wisley, and holds numerous gardening events, including the Chelsea Flower Show. Gardens that are run by the RHS offer either discounts for carers or free entry to accompanying carers. Please bear in mind that some RHS sites and events do not offer any discounts at all, meaning you will need to pay the full entry fee. Therefore, we always recommend that you check first with the location you are interested in visiting first.

However, all of the theme parks run by the Merlin group, which include Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures and LEGOLAND® Windsor, allow you to claim one free carer ticket if you go with someone with a disability. In order to receive the ticket you will need to provide proof that you care for someone. This will be checked at the kiosk or even when you book your tickets online. If the person you care for regularly visits Merlin owned theme parks then we would recommend that they purchase a Merlin Annual Pass. This way they can also claim a free carer pass at the same time.
