Do I need to provide any documentation to prove that I’m a carer?

No. There is a reason we don't ask for official documentation. This is because there are approx. 10M carers in the UK and only 1M are registered with their local authority. These are the only people that could potentially provide proof. We must also consider the other 9M carers. They should not be excluded from receiving a card and app that can really help.

We do however ask a series of questions which will enable to us validate your suitability for the card.

The benefit of our approach is that we actually put our members in contact with their local authority as we want to dramatically improve the number of carers registered with their local authority. We've already made great strides with this.
